Cleveland Browns
Tennessee Titans
Moneyline: Tennessee Titans ML (110) — Loss
Why this play: Tennessee is the only team in this division that hasn't looked like a car missing a wheel, and betting the Browns is a hobby for masochists.
Quick read:
Hand me the Tennessee Titans moneyline and I'll hand you a headache-free weekend. Cleveland hasn't exactly been rolling; their defense is currently running on fumes and one guy's desire to not embarrass himself in front of a national audience. Tennessee, meanwhile, looks like a team that actually remembers how to win a football game without needing a miracle or a referee's blind spot.
The Browns' defensive leader is cleared to play, which sounds like good news until you realize they are still navigating a minefield of other injury issues that make their depth chart look like a ransom note. Tennessee doesn't have that luxury of 'maybe someone will show up healthy.' They show up, they execute, and they don't ask the football gods for a pause button. That reliability is the difference between a ticket to the postseason and a souvenir T-shirt from a fun house.
The only risk here is if the Titans decide to play 'hero ball' and throw the ball into the sun for thirty consecutive yards, but even then, Cleveland's secondary is too busy arguing with each other to put out the fire. Take the Titans, close the tab, and go do something that doesn't involve watching a quarterback try to bench press a football.
