KT Wiz vs. SSG Landers

Quick read:

On April 25, 2026, at SSG Landers Field in Incheon, the SSG Landers defeated the KT Wiz 3-1 to secure a five-game winning streak in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League. SSG pitcher Shota Takeda, returning to the 1st team after a 10-day stint in the 2nd team, delivered a strong performance with 5 innings pitched, 3 hits allowed, 6 strikeouts, and 0 earned runs, earning his first win of the season (improving his record to 1-3).

While the team celebrated, SSG player Park Seong-han's historic 22-game consecutive hit streak ended; he went 0-for-4 in the game, failing to surpass the previous record of 18 games held by Kim Yong-hee of the Lotte Giants in 1982. Key scoring plays included a sacrifice fly by Jun-jae Jeong, an RBI single by Choi Jeong in the 3rd inning, and a solo home run by Choi Jeong in the 8th inning.
