Parlay: Atlanta Braves VS Miami Marlins 2025-06-22

Best Same Game Parlay: Atlanta Braves Moneyline + Over 8.5 Runs
Odds: +237 (1.74 x 1.94 = 3.37 total return)

Why This Works:
1. Braves Moneyline (-148):
- Atlanta’s offense is clicking with Matt Olson (11-game hitting streak, 15 HRs, 49 RBI) and Marcell Ozuna (.253 BA, .379 OBP).
- Starter Bryce Elder (4.45 ERA) is outperformed by Sandy Alcantara (6.88 ERA, 1.471 WHIP), who’s struggled this season.
- The Braves are 30-28 when favored, while the Marlins are 25-39.1% as underdogs.

2. Over 8.5 Runs (-105):
- The Marlins hit the over in 36/74 games, and the Braves in 29/74.
- Alcantara’s 6.88 ERA and 1.471 WHIP suggest high-scoring potential.
- The over is priced at 1.94-1.95 across books, reflecting confidence in run production.

Key Stats:
- Alcantara’s Struggles: 6.88 ERA, 1.471 WHIP, and 5.2 BB/9.
- Braves’ Offense: 4.97 runs/game, led by Olson (.315 BA, 15 HRs).
- Marlins’ Offense: 4.38 runs/game, but Alcantara’s poor control could lead to more scoring.

Avoid This Parlay If:
- Elder shuts down the Marlins’ offense (4.45 ERA, 51 Ks in 60.2 IP).
- Both teams’ defenses play clean baseball, keeping the game low-scoring.

Best Odds:
- FanDuel: Braves ML (-148) + Over 8.5 (-105) = +237.
- DraftKings: Braves ML (-148) + Over 8.5 (-105) = +237.

Verdict: A smart, high-reward bet on a high-scoring Atlanta win. The Braves’ potent offense and Alcantara’s woes make this parlay a compelling play.
