Parlay: Minnesota Twins VS Houston Astros 2025-06-14

What a matchup! The Minnesota Twins are favored to take down the Houston Astros on Saturday, June 14, 2025. After digging through the numbers, I've got a same-game parlay that I think has a great chance of cashing.

Same Game Parlay:

1. Minnesota Twins Moneyline: -116 (implied probability: 53.5%)
2. Over 7.0: -110 (implied probability: 52.4%)

Why this parlay?

The Twins have a strong 56.8% win rate when they're the moneyline favorite, and Joe Ryan has been dealing on the mound (7-2, 2.96 ERA). I like their chances of taking down the Astros.
The Twins and Astros have both gone over the total in 27 of their respective 67 and 68 games, indicating that they're capable of putting up runs. The current total of 7.0 is relatively low, and I think both teams can contribute to a high-scoring game.
The Astros have the seventh-best ERA in the majors (3.50), but they've also hit 67 homers, which suggests they can score runs in bunches. The Twins, meanwhile, rank 18th in baseball with 69 home runs.

Parlay Odds:

Using the FanDuel prices, the parlay would pay out at approximately 2.65 (1.83 x 1.45, adjusted for the vig).

Other options to consider:

Adding a prop bet, like Byron Buxton to hit a home run (+230) or Brooks Lee to have a multi-hit game (-110), could increase the parlay's potential payout.

Keep in mind that same-game parlays can be volatile, and there's always some risk involved. However, based on the numbers, I think this parlay has a good chance of success.

Will you be tailing or fading?
