Parlay: Seattle Mariners VS Chicago Cubs 2025-06-22

Best Same-Game Parlay: Chicago Cubs -1.5 (-168) + Over 11.5 Runs (-105)
Combined Implied Odds: ~+224 (1.224 decimal)

### Why This Works:
1. Cubs Spread (-1.5):
- Odds: Best at Fanatics (1.69) and Caesars (1.69).
- Rationale: The Cubs are a 5.3 R/G team (2nd in MLB) facing a Mariners staff with a 3.92 ERA and 11.5 R/G allowed. Cade Horton (3.47 ERA at Wrigley) vs. Emerson Hancock (4.48 ERA) tilts the matchup. The Cubs have covered 71% of their games this season.

2. Over 11.5 Runs:
- Odds: Best at BetUS (1.91) and Bovada (2.00).
- Rationale: The Cubs average 8.77 H/G, while the Mariners allow 9.1 H/G. With the Cubs’ offense and Hancock’s vulnerability (4.48 ERA), this total is likely to be exceeded. The Over has hit in 58% of the Cubs’ games this season.

### Key Stats:
- Cubs’ Moneyline Win Rate as Favorites: 69.2% (36-16).
- Mariners’ Offense: 13th in runs (4.1 R/G), 19th in batting average (.235).
- Horton vs. Hancock: Cubs’ starter has a 3.47 ERA at home; Mariners’ starter has a 4.48 ERA.

### Avoid These Legs:
- Under 11.5 Runs: The Under is -105 to -107, but the Cubs’ offense and Hancock’s struggles make this a risky leg.
- Mariners Moneyline/Spread: Seattle is just 50% as underdogs and has a weak lineup.

Final Verdict: This parlay combines the Cubs’ offensive dominance and pitching edge with a favorable total line. The spread (-1.5) is achievable, and the Over 11.5 is a logical extension of the matchup. Target Fanatics or Caesars for the spread and BetUS/Bovada for the Over to maximize value.

“The Cubs are a loaded offense with a sneaky-good pitcher at home. The Mariners? They’re just here to get hit.” — The Handicapper’s Take
