Prediction: Arthur Fils VS Jaume Munar 2025-05-28

The clay courts of Roland-Garros, where the young and fearless Arthur Fils is looking to make a name for himself. The 20-year-old French player has already made a statement by defeating Nicolás Jarry in the first round, and now he's set to face the 57th-ranked Spanish player Jaume Munar.

Fils, the 14th seed, is riding high after his convincing victory over Jarry, and the odds are firmly in his favor. With prices ranging from 1.23 to 1.29 across various bookmakers, it's clear that the tennis world is backing the young Frenchman to take down Munar.

And why not? Fils has shown his mastery on clay, dominating Jarry in the first two sets before closing out the match in four. He's got the skills, the talent, and the home-court advantage to take down Munar, who is ranked just a few spots below him.

Munar, on the other hand, had a solid win over Camilo Ugo Carabelli in the first round, but he'll need to bring his A-game if he wants to take down the in-form Fils.

So, what's the best bet here? With Fils' impressive form and the odds in his favor, I'm backing him to take down Munar in straight sets. The spread of -5.5 games at MyBookie.ag looks tempting, but I'm going to play it safe and take Fils to win outright.

Best bet: Arthur Fils to win at 1.26 (DraftKings)

This one has the potential to be a thrilling match, but I'm confident that Fils' youth, skill, and home-court advantage will give him the edge he needs to take down Munar. Allez, Arthur!
