Prediction: Chicago Sky VS New York Liberty 2025-06-10

The Chicago Sky, minus their star point guard Courtney Vandersloot, who's out for the season with a torn ACL, are set to take on the New York Liberty. The Liberty, fresh from their 2024 WNBA Finals win, are looking fierce, and it's hard to see the Sky putting up much of a fight without their veteran leader.

The Sky are currently 2-5, sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference, while the Liberty are one of the favorites to win it all this season. With Vandersloot out, rookie Hailey Van Lith will have to step up, but it's a tall order against a team as strong as the Liberty.

The odds are heavily in favor of the Liberty, with FanDuel listing them at 1.06 to win, and the Sky at 9.2. The spread is 15.5 points, with both teams priced at around 1.91.

My best bet for this game is the New York Liberty to cover the spread. The Liberty have been on fire this season, and without Vandersloot, the Sky are going to struggle to keep up. I'm predicting a blowout win for the Liberty, and the 15.5-point spread seems like a relatively safe bet.
