The White Sox, on the other hand, are struggling to score, ranking 26th in the league with a paltry 196 runs. Miguel Vargas (8 home runs), Luis Robert (6 doubles, 5 home runs), and Chase Meidroth (.286 batting average) will try to change that narrative.
The Orioles are listed as -235 favorites on the moneyline, which is a bit surprising given their 31% win rate as favorites. The White Sox, meanwhile, have won a whopping 32.1% of their games as underdogs. Not exactly a recipe for success.
My best bet for this matchup is the Over 9.0 runs, currently priced at 1.83 on FanDuel. With the Orioles' shaky pitching and the White Sox's occasional ability to score, I think we'll see a high-scoring affair. Plus, the Orioles have been known to give up runs in bunches, and the White Sox might just capitalize on that.
So, if you're feeling adventurous, take the Over 9.0 runs and hope for a wild ride. Just don't say I didn't warn you if the game ends up being a 2-1 snooze-fest.
