The Detroit Tigers, boasting a respectable 45-25 record, are set to host the Cincinnati Reds, who are hot on their heels with a 35-34 record. It's time to dissect this matchup and spit out some cold, hard facts.

Keider Montero (Tigers) - 4.30 ERA, 30 strikeouts in 46 2/3 innings pitched
Nick Martinez (Reds) - 3.70 ERA, 6.3 strikeouts per nine innings
