Prediction: Connecticut Sun VS Las Vegas Aces 2025-06-25

WNBA Showdown: Connecticut Sun vs. Las Vegas Aces – A Tale of Two Teams (and a Lot of Point Spread Drama)

The Setup:
The Connecticut Sun (2-12), fresh off a six-game losing streak and a league-worst record, travel to Las Vegas to face the Aces (6-7), who’ve stumbled to just 2-5 in their last seven games. This isn’t a match-up of titans—it’s more like a mismatched dance-off between a team with a 2-12 record and one with a 6-7 record. Both squads are nursing injuries, but the Aces are favored at 96.55% on the moneyline, which feels like the sportsbooks are just handing out the trophy to A’ja Wilson’s squad with a “Here you go, enjoy your nap” emoji.

Key Injuries & Lineup Notes:
- Connecticut Sun: Missing Marina Mabrey (injured) and Leila Lacan (injured). Their starting five will be Bria Hartley, Jacy Sheldon, Saniya Rivers, Aneesah Morrow, and Tina Charles. Charles is the lone bright spot, averaging 15.2 PPG in her last five games.
