Prediction: Lois Boisson VS Mirra Andreeva 2025-06-03

The French Open, where the clay is as slippery as a snake's hind legs and the tennis is as fierce as a Russian's stare. And speaking of Russians, we've got a real barnburner of a matchup for you, folks, as the 6th-ranked Mirra Andreeva takes on the plucky Lois Boisson.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Who's Lois Boisson?" Well, let me tell you, she's the underdog with a price tag to match, currently sitting at a juicy 6.0 to 1 with Bovada. But don't get too excited, folks, because Mirra Andreeva is the real deal, with three WTA titles under her belt and a semifinal finish at the 2024 French Open.

Andreeva's been on fire lately, taking down Daria Kasatkina in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5. And with her powerful forehand and aggressive playing style, she's looking like a strong contender to make a deep run in this tournament.

As for Boisson, well, she's got her work cut out for her. With Andreeva's odds sitting at a minuscule 1.13 with Fanatics, it's clear that the bookies don't think Boisson stands a chance. But hey, stranger things have happened, right?

So, what's the best bet here? Well, I've got to go with the spread, folks. With Andreeva's dominant playing style and Boisson's relative inexperience, I think the Russian will take this one in straight sets. Take Andreeva -5.5 with MyBookie.ag at 1.71, and watch as she steamrolls her way to the semifinals.

Best Bet: Mirra Andreeva -5.5 (1.71 with MyBookie.ag)
