Prediction: Mariano Navone VS Lorenzo Musetti 2025-05-30

The Italian stallion, Lorenzo Musetti, is looking to make a deep run in the French Open, and he's got a tough test ahead of him in the form of Mariano Navone. Navone, the 24-year-old Argentine, has been on a roll, taking down Reilly Opelka in the second round, but let's be real, Musetti is a whole different beast.

Musetti, the 7th-ranked player in the world, has been dominating on clay, with 23 wins and only 5 losses since last July. He's also had a strong season, reaching the finals of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 and the semifinals of the Madrid and Rome Masters 1000. The guy's got game, and he's looking to make a statement in Paris.

Navone, on the other hand, is a bit of a dark horse. He's got some skills, but he's also got a tough task ahead of him. Musetti is a top-ten player for a reason, and Navone will need to bring his A-game if he wants to take down the Italian.

The odds are heavily in Musetti's favor, with a payout of 1.11 for a win, while Navone is sitting at 6.20. I'm not saying Navone can't win, but it's going to be a long shot.

My best bet for this match is Musetti to win, but I'm also going to take a look at the over/under. With Musetti's dominant clay court record and Navone's ability to push matches to the limit, I think we could see a long and grueling match. I'm going to take the over 33.5 games, with a payout of 1.87.

So, there you have it. Musetti to win, and the over 33.5 games. Don't @ me.
