Prediction: Worcester Red Sox VS Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 2025-06-01

The main event: Boston Red Sox vs Atlanta Braves. Not to be confused with the thrilling Worcester Red Sox vs Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders matchup (just kidding, who doesn't love minor league baseball?).

On a more serious note, the Red Sox are favored to win at -134, and I think they've got this one in the bag. With a strong offense ranking 6th in baseball, averaging 4.7 runs per game, they should be able to take down the Braves. Rafael Devers and Wilyer Abreu are the ones to watch, with 52 RBIs and 13 home runs, respectively.

The Braves' pitching staff has a respectable 3.74 ERA, but I think the Red Sox bats will be too much for them. Garrett Crochet on the mound for Boston should be able to contain the Braves' offense, which is no slouch itself.

My best bet for this game is the Red Sox on the moneyline at -134. The Braves might put up a fight, but I think Boston's offense will ultimately prevail.
