Prop Bets: Baltimore Orioles VS Cleveland Guardians 2025-07-21

Prediction: The Guardians Will Stomp the Orioles, and Jose Ramirez Will Make Tomoyuki Sugano Look Like a Pinata

The Cleveland Guardians (-137) are favored to humiliate the Baltimore Orioles (+115) in a game that’s as lopsided as Tomoyuki Sugano’s 4.44 ERA. Here’s why:

1. Jose Ramirez’s HR Party: Ramirez, who slugs 15 of his 19 HRs against righties, is a one-man wrecking crew against Sugano, who’s allowed 19 HRs in 18 starts this season. Bet the Over on Ramirez’s RBI total (1.5, -290)—he’s got a .855 OPS vs. righties, and Sugano’s a sitting duck.

2. Sugano’s HR Jinx: The Orioles’ starter has coughed up 8 HRs in his last 7 starts. With the Guardians’ .285 ISO (slugging % minus batting avg), expect fireworks. Take the Over 8.5 runs (1.83) for a game that’ll feel like a home-run derby.

3. Pitcher Props: Sugano’s strikeout total (3.5, +120) is a buy-low spot—he’s averaging 5.6 Ks per start but will get shelled. Guardians’ starter Tanner Bibee (-145) is a safer bet to log 5.5+ Ks (-150).

Final Score Prediction: Cleveland 6, Baltimore 3. The Guardians’ .550 team OPS will outgun the Orioles’ 4th-worst offense (402 runs). And yes, Ramirez will likely hit a HR and steal a base—props are open for that, too.

Bonus Prop Pick: Ramirez’s total bases (1.5, -115)—he’s a one-trick pinata, and Sugano’s the one holding the bat.
