Prop Bets: Boston Red Sox VS New York Yankees 2025-06-08

The battle for American League East supremacy is on, folks. The Boston Red Sox are set to take on their arch-nemesis, the New York Yankees, in a Sunday Night Baseball showdown. The Yankees are favored to win, with odds of 1.08 at FanDuel, but don't count out the Red Sox just yet.

Carlos Rodon, the Yankees' ace, is expected to bring the heat, with a 13.1% swinging strike rate and a prop bet of Over 7.5 strikeouts at +100 at Caesars. Meanwhile, Aaron Judge is looking to shine against Hunter Dobbins, who has a 4.06 ERA and allows free passes at a 5.3% rate. You can bet on Judge to have 2+ total bases at +120 at Caesars.

On the Red Sox side, Rafael Devers has been effective against left-handed pitching and has a good track record against Rodon, going 5-for-15 with a .945 OPS. You can bet on Devers to have 1+ RBI at +172 at Caesars.

As for the game itself, the SportsLine Projection Model is calling for a Yankees win, but the Red Sox have a money line probability of over 40%. The model suggests Boston will be able to cover the run line, with the Yankees winning by an average score of 5.3 to 4.8. The over/under is set at 6.5, with the over priced at 1.98 at BetMGM and the under at 1.77.

So, who's going to come out on top? The Yankees' firepower or the Red Sox's pluck? One thing's for sure - it's going to be a wild ride. Take the Yankees to win, but don't be surprised if the Red Sox cover the spread. And if you're feeling fancy, throw some cash on Rodon to go over 7.5 strikeouts and Judge to have 2+ total bases. It's going to be a fun one, folks.
