Prop Bets: Chicago White Sox VS Baltimore Orioles 2025-05-30

The battle of the basement dwellers is upon us, folks. The Chicago White Sox, with a dismal 18-38 record, are set to take on the slightly-less-dismal Baltimore Orioles, who boast a 19-36 record. The Orioles are favored to win, with odds of -235 on the moneyline, but don't count out the White Sox just yet. After all, the Orioles have only won 31% of their games as favorites, while the White Sox have managed to scrape together a 32.1% win rate as underdogs.

Zach Eflin will take the mound for the Orioles, while Sean Burke will pitch for the White Sox. The Orioles' offense has been a bright spot, ranking 10th in the league with 60 home runs, thanks in part to the likes of Ryan O'Hearn, Cedric Mullins, and Gunnar Henderson. Meanwhile, the White Sox have struggled to score, ranking 26th in the league with just 196 total runs.

As for player props, keep an eye on Miguel Vargas, Luis Robert, and Chase Meidroth for the White Sox, as well as the aforementioned Orioles trio. The over/under for the game is set at 9.0, with the over priced at 1.85 and the under at 1.98. Given the Orioles' penchant for hitting home runs, it's not hard to imagine this one going over.

So, who will come out on top in this clash of the titans? I'm going to take a wild guess and say the Orioles will manage to eke out a win, but don't be surprised if the White Sox pull off an upset. After all, as the great philosopher, Dolly Parton, once said, "If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." And, folks, this game is going to be a rainy day indeed.
