Prop Bets: Chicago White Sox VS Texas Rangers 2025-06-14

Saturday Night Showdown: Rangers to Rout White Sox

The Chicago White Sox are having a season that's, well, let's just say they're not exactly "winning" in the classical sense. With a dismal 23-46 record, they're basically the MLB's version of that one friend who still lives in their parent's basement. Meanwhile, the Texas Rangers are looking like the team to beat, with a strong pitching staff (3.17 team ERA) and a lineup that's ready to put on a show at hitter-friendly Globe Life Field.

The Rangers are favored to win with a moneyline of -171, and for good reason. When they're the favorites, they win a whopping 64.7% of their games. That's like me winning at fantasy football when I've got Tom Brady on my team (which, let's be real, is always).

On the mound, Jacob deGrom is set to start for the Rangers, boasting a stingy 2.12 ERA in 76 1/3 innings pitched. That's like throwing a fastball while whispering sweet nothings to the batter, "You're going down, kiddo!"

The White Sox, on the other hand, are struggling to find their footing. They've won just 23 of their 69 games as underdogs, and when they're underdogs by at least +143, they... well, let's just say it's not pretty.

Player Props to Watch:

Wyatt Langford to hit a home run: +450 (DraftKings)
Aaron Judge to have a big game: +200 (DraftKings)

Prediction: Rangers 6, White Sox 2. Take the Rangers to cover the spread (-1.5) at -171, and consider taking the under (7.5) at 1.83. Langford's power bat will come through with a dinger, and deGrom will shut down the Sox. Easy peasy.

Odds:

Rangers -1.5: -171 (FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars)
Under 7.5: 1.83 (FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars)
* Langford HR: +450 (DraftKings)

Don't say I didn't warn you... the Rangers are gonna bring the heat!
