Prop Bets: Colorado Rockies VS Los Angeles Dodgers 2025-09-09

Dodgers vs. Rockies: A "Rocky" Road for the Rockies
The Los Angeles Dodgers (-323) are about to face the Colorado Rockies, and if you’ve ever seen a mountain climber struggle with a limp, you’ll get the vibe here. The Rockies, with a 40-103 record, are the NFL’s Washington Commanders of baseball—here for the merch, not the wins. Their starter, German Marquez (6.19 ERA, 1.709 WHIP), is a gift for prop bettors.

Why Bet the UNDER on Marquez’s Strikeouts (3.5, -114):
Marquez averages fewer than one strikeout per inning. He’s the human equivalent of a broken fan—spinning, but not effectively. The Dodgers’ lineup (3rd in MLB in Ks) will feast on his inconsistency.

Freddie Freeman’s OVER 2.5 Hits/RBI (1.5, -145):
Freeman’s 19 HRs and .295 average vs. righties make him a lock. Marquez? He’s a lefty, but even he can’t stop Freeman’s bat from going boom.

Game Prediction:
The Dodgers (79-64) are 56.3% winners as favorites, and Marquez’s 28.1% win rate as an underdog (+256 or worse) makes this a one-sided picnic. Bet the UNDER 9 runs (-120) too—the Rockies’ 3.8 R/G and Dodger bullpen’s 4.21 ERA suggest a low-scoring snoozefest.

Final Joke:
The Rockies might as well play this game at Mount Everest. Even the altitude can’t save them. Go get ‘em, Dodger dogs. 🐕⚾
