Tigers vs. Guardians: A Tale of Two Cy Young Contenders (and One Desperate Team)
The Detroit Tigers (-157) are favored to stomp the Cleveland Guardians (+129) on Tuesday, and honestly, it’s not even close. Tarik Skubal, the AL Cy Young frontrunner, has allowed just 1 earned run in his last 23 innings against Cleveland. The Guardians, meanwhile, are 27th in MLB in batting average against lefties. If you’re betting on Cleveland, you might as well toss your cash into a lake and call it a day.

Key Props to Watch:
- Tarik Skubal’s Strikeouts (Over 7.5, -132): Skubal has 18 strikeouts in his last 3 starts. The Guardians’ offense is about as threatening as a wet noodle. Take the over.
- Gavin Williams’ Earned Runs (Over 1.5, -170): Williams has a 3.06 ERA, but facing Skubal? Good luck. The over is a surefire bet for heartburn.
- Kerry Carpenter’s RBI (Over 0.5, -210): The Tigers’ slugger has 33 HRs this season. He’ll either hit a moonshot or take a dirt nap. Either way, it’s entertainment.

Why the Tigers Win:
Skubal’s 7.5 K/9 rate vs. Cleveland is like a math test for the Guardians’ lineup. They’ll stare at the problem, scratch their heads, and then go home. The implied probability of this game (61% for Detroit) suggests even the most optimistic Guardians fan is already packing for a postgame nap.

Final Score Prediction: Detroit 4, Cleveland 1. Profit from the Guardians’ despair. 🎯
