Prop Bets: Karen Khachanov VS Mackenzie McDonald 2025-06-30

Karen Khachanov vs. Mackenzie McDonald – Wimbledon 1st Round
Date/Time: June 30, 2025 @ 2 PM ET

The Odds (Moneyline):
- Karen Khachanov: 1.22 (Caesars) – Essentially a foregone conclusion, unless McDonald suddenly invents a time machine to rewrite his 2021 US Open loss to Khachanov.
- Mackenzie McDonald: 4.1 (BetRivers) – Odds so long, they’re basically a dare. Take this bet only if you believe Khachanov will start napping during the match.

Spreads:
- Khachanov -4.5 (1.81) / McDonald +4.5 (1.95) – McDonald needs to win less than half a game to “cover.” Spoiler: He won’t.

Total Games (Even Money):
- Over/Under 39.5 – The books expect a grueling five-set slog. They’re probably right. Khachanov’s 2024 grass-court games average: 41.2. McDonald’s? Also 41.2. They’re both here to play chess in loafers.

The Verdict:
Khachanov, seeded 17th, is a Russian tank on grass, while McDonald, a solid doubles specialist, is here to politely ask, “Can I have a mulligan?” The ATP’s new documentary about Andrey Rublev might as well be titled “How Karen Khachanov Actually Feels About You.” Khachanov’s mental toughness (per the doc’s “emotional journey” vibes) will crush McDonald’s hopes.

Prop Bet Alert: “Will McDonald win a single game?” Over 0.5 (-1100) / Under 0.5 (+1000). Take the over only if you enjoy paying taxes.

Prediction: Khachanov wins 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. McDonald will exit Wimbledon 2025 with the same confidence he brought in: none.
