Prop Bets: Maya Joint VS Amanda Anisimova 2025-08-28

"Amanda Anisimova vs. Maya Joint: A Foregone Conclusion (With a Side of Humility)"

The US Open’s latest chapter pits Amanda Anisimova (22, 76.9% implied probability at -130 odds) against 19-year-old Australian Maya Joint (27.8% implied probability at +350). The numbers? A laughing matter. The spread? Anisimova’s -4.5-game edge feels like a math test written by a third grader.

Key Stats & Odds:
- H2H Odds: Anisimova (-130 to -129); Joint (+300 to +360).
- Spreads: Anisimova -4.5 (1.8–1.92); Joint +4.5 (1.85–1.92).
- Total Games: 20.5 (Over 1.83–1.98; Under 1.83–1.92).

Anisimova, fresh off dismantling Kimberly Birrell and backed by three analysts predicting her victory (in 2 or 3 sets), is the tennis equivalent of a caffeine addict: relentless and slightly insufferable. Joint, meanwhile, brings spin and athleticism but faces a wall of “Grand Slam form” from Anisimova, who’s 10-2 in her last 12 matches.

Prop Bet Jabs:
- Double Faults Under 2.5 (Anisimova): Bet her nerves stay as steady as a rock—unlike Coco Gauff’s opener.
- Games Won by Joint: If she snags more than 8, the tennis gods have a sick sense of humor.

Prediction: Anisimova in 2, 6-3, 6-2. Unless Joint invents a new type of spin that bends time and space, this is a rout. The only upset here? How BetRivers isn’t charging admission for this “sure thing.”

Place your bets. Or don’t. Even the oddsmakers are bored. 🎾
