Prop Bets: Milwaukee Brewers VS Washington Nationals 2025-08-02

Brewers vs. Nationals: A Tale of Two Teams (and a Lot of Runs)
The Milwaukee Brewers (-177) are here to flex their 4.8-run-per-game offense against the Washington Nationals (+157), whose pitchers have a 5.15 ERA. Let’s just say it’s like sending a power lifter to compete against a yoga instructor—different skill sets.

Why the Brewers Win:
- William Contreras is on a two-homer tear and has a prop bet for hits over 1.5 (-110). Expect him to turn this into a "three-homer tour."
- Brandon Woodruff (5.5 K prop at -130) will likely outduel Jake Irvin, who’s tasked with pitching like a Nats fan’s hope for a playoff berth.
- The Brewers have won 64.2% of games as favorites this year. Coincidence? No. The Nationals have lost 56.5% as underdogs. Also no coincidence.

Why the Nationals Might Still Win:
- Spoiler alert: They don’t. But if you bet on CJ Abrams’ hits over 1.5 (-215), you’re playing for a Nationals’ highlight reel, not a win.

Key Props to Steal:
- Contreras’ hits over 1.5 (-110): He’s a machine. Take it.
- Irvin’s strikeouts under 3.5 (-155): His ERA (5.43) screams “strikeout victim.”
- Yelich’s total bases over 4.5 (+700): If he goes yard, this’ll be the prop that wins you a vacation.

Final Score Prediction: Brewers 7, Nationals 3. The Nats’ pitching staff will be so busy mailing it in, they’ll forget to throw strikes.

Implied Probability Check: Brewers ~63% to win. Nationals ~37%. But let’s be real—the real favorite is the guy who bets on Contreras going deep. 🍻⚾
