Prop Bets: New York Mets VS Pittsburgh Pirates 2025-06-28

Humorous Prediction: Mets Crush Pirates (Again) While Prop Bets Go Up in Smoke

The New York Mets (-153) are set to stomp the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight, and here’s why: Paul Blackburn will pitch like he’s been paid to not throw a no-hitter (just kidding, Paul—keep it tight!). The Mets’ 3.21 ERA (MLB’s best) will suffocate the Pirates’ offense, which ranks 30th in the league. Let’s face it, Pittsburgh’s lineup is so anemic, their doubles might as well be called “singles-and-a-prayer.”

Key Prop Bets to Waste Your Money On:
- Pete Alonso O/U 0.5 Hits (-217): Bet “Over” because Alonso’s been hitting moonshots, not meteors.
- Francisco Lindor O/U 2.5 RBIs (-140): Lindor’s got the bat of a guy who just discovered his RBIs app.
- Bailey Falter Strikeouts O/U 3.5 (-120): Take “Under”—Falter’s Ks are rarer than a Pirates win.

Why the Mets Win: The Pirates’ .234 team batting average is so low, they’d need a telescope to find the plate. And with Blackburn (3.85 ERA) on the mound, even the most optimistic Pirate fan would need a therapist.

Final Score Prediction: Mets 5, Pirates 1 (because 0 is too cruel).

Bonus Prop: Bet “Over” on Tyrone Taylor’s 0.5 stolen bases at +140. Because why not? It’s as likely as the Pirates winning the NL East!

Note: Props are for entertainment. Don’t bet your firstborn. Literally. 🎲⚾
