Prop Bets: Pittsburgh Pirates VS Chicago Cubs 2025-06-13

Prediction Time: Cubs vs. Pirates on June 13, 2025

The Chicago Cubs are gearing up to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Wrigley Field, and I've got the scoop. The Cubs are favored to win at -211 (or 1.89 on FanDuel), while the Pirates are the underdogs at +196 (or 1.96 on FanDuel).

The Pirates are having a tough season so far, ranking 29th in team batting average and scoring the fewest runs in baseball. On the other hand, the Cubs have a strong pitching staff, ranking 9th in team ERA.

Key Matchup: Cade Horton vs. Paul Skenes

The Cubs' Cade Horton will be facing the Pirates' Paul Skenes. While I don't have their stats, I do know that Horton and Skenes are key players to watch.

Player Prop Bets to Consider:

Over/Under for total runs scored: 6.5 (or 7.0 at some books) seems like a good bet, considering the Pirates' struggles and the Cubs' strong pitching.
Individual player props: Keep an eye on Cubs' Seiya Suzuki, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Kyle Tucker, as well as Pirates' Oneil Cruz, Bryan Reynolds, and Andrew McCutchen.

Prediction:

The Cubs will likely take this one, given their strong pitching and the Pirates' anemic offense. I'm calling it: Cubs 4, Pirates 2. Take the Cubs on the moneyline (-211) and consider going under on the total (6.5).

Best Bets:

Cubs -1.5 (1.49 on FanDuel)
Under 6.5 (2.02 on FanDuel)

Keep in mind that these are just predictions, and baseball is full of surprises. But if I had to put my money on it, I'd go with the Cubs and the under.
