Prop Bets: San Antonio Spurs VS Dallas Mavericks 2025-10-22

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs: A Rebounding Frenzy and Prop Picks

The Dallas Mavericks, now led by the newly acquired Anthony Davis, host the San Antonio Spurs in a clash of old rivals. With Davis averaging 13 rebounds per game and the Spurs notoriously poor at rebounding on the road (-4 per game last season), this game is a goldmine for prop bets.

Key Takeaways:
1. Anthony Davis (-130, Over 10.5 Rebounds): Davis is a rebounding machine, and the Spurs’ porous defense (-4.5 RPG on the road) makes this a lock. The SportsLine model projects 13.1 rebounds for Davis. Take the Over.
2. Victor Wembanyama (+115, Over 24.5 Points): Despite his 23.5 PPG average, Wembanyama faces a Mavericks defense that’s shaky against big men. But Dallas’ frontcourt depth (Davis, Lively II) might limit him. Pass—the price isn’t worth the risk.
3. Spread: Dallas -3.5 (-148). The Mavs’ home dominance (4-1 ATS) and the Spurs’ road struggles make this a solid play.

Why the Mavs Win:
- Rebounding Edge: Dallas’ frontcourt (Davis, Lively II) vs. Spurs’ weak boards.
- Home Court: Dallas is 4-1 ATS at home this season.

Prop to Avoid: Wembanyama’s Over 24.5 points. The Spurs’ offense is too disjointed to support that volume.

Final Verdict: Bet Dallas -3.5 and Davis Over 10.5 rebounds. The Spurs’ youth movement? A rebounding disaster waiting to happen.

“If the Spurs win this game, I’ll eat my hat… and their rebounding stats.” 🏀🔥
