Prop Bets: Texas Rangers VS Minnesota Twins 2025-06-12

Twins vs. Rangers Prediction: A Snooze-Fest in the Making

In a battle of, well, not exactly titans, the Minnesota Twins (35-31) host the Texas Rangers (32-35) on Thursday at 1:10 p.m. ET. The Twins are favored by -166 on the moneyline, which is about as exciting as a prescription sleep aid. But hey, someone's gotta win.

The Twins have a respectable 11-3 record when favored by -166 or shorter, while the Rangers have struggled mightily as underdogs, winning only 10 out of 33 games this season. That's like me trying to eat a whole pizza by myself – it just ain't happening.

Bailey Ober gets the start for the Twins, and if you're into strikeouts, he's your guy. The Twins' pitching staff has a collective nine K/9, which is seventh-best in the majors. Trevor Larnach leads the team with 10 home runs, because who doesn't love a good power hitter?

The Rangers, on the other hand, have scored a paltry 237 runs this season, ranking 26th in MLB. Their team batting average of .225 is a respectable 28th among MLB teams. Yikes.

Best Bet: Twins -166 (if you must)

Player Prop Parlays: If you're feeling adventurous, consider taking Bailey Ober 5+ Ks (-143) and Trevor Larnach 1+ HR (+106). Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Game Prediction: Twins 4, Rangers 2. The Twins' pitching staff will stifle the Rangers' offense, and Larnach will hit a solo homer to seal the deal. The under 8.5 (-115) is also a solid bet, as both teams' offenses are about as potent as a sedative.

There you have it. The Twins will likely win, and you'll probably fall asleep during the game.
