Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: A Summer League Showdown
July 13, 2025 | 2:00 AM ET

The Verdict (With Math and Mockery):
The Minnesota Timberwolves are the overwhelming favorites here, per the odds. At FanDuel, they’re priced at +27% implied probability (decimal 1.27), while the Denver Nuggets are a whopping underdog at 24% (decimal 3.85). If you’re feeling spicy, take the Nuggets +8.5 at BetRivers (1.89), because why not chase a 48% chance to profit on a team that’s basically the NBA’s version of a “Did You Know?” trivia fact.

Totals Take: The Over 182.5 is a near 50-50 proposition across books (1.89–1.93), which is surprising given how many Summer League players treat defenses like a suggestion. Expect a fireworks show—unless these kids are here for brovity.

Player Props? None listed in the context, but if Rob Dillingham (last game’s “Player to Watch”) were here, he’d probably take a sip of coffee, hit a three, and whisper, “This is just practice.”

Final Prediction: The Timberwolves will win by 9, because even in Summer League, the Nuggets’ “contender” status is a mirage. But hey, if you bet on Denver covering the spread, tell yourself you’re “investing in chaos.”

“The odds say Timberwolves. The spirit of Nikola Jokic says Timberwolves. Your gut says… Timberwolves. Now go bet on the Nuggets and feel the thrill of being wrong.” 🏀🔥
